The Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Assessments are friendly "exams" that give students an opportunity to show off their playing skills. They are a great practice motivator for students, and it is great to have a formal certificate from the Music Conservatory.
This six-week program will begin to prepare students to take the assessments in the 2024/25 school year.
Each of the 6 classes last 1 hour, and students will be expected to practice for 30 minutes each day during the week so we can maximize productivity during class time. We are going to cover a lot this summer and the students will sound fantastic by the end of the program! Yay!
Students taking part in this program will begin working on the assessment material during the June lessons and will be expected to use the 3-week break between June 15 and July 10, to make progress on scales and pieces. Make-up classes are available if you need to miss a week.
